DHIS2 (formerly DHIS) is a software-based tool that helps to monitor, analyze and document information regarding health. In order to provide quality health services, the administration needs reliable health data. We hence carried out a study on Kwale county and focused on health records from DHIS2 collected between the years 2013 to 2017. In this study we seek to evaluate and visualize the trends in rampant diseases in our count, investigate the causes and present recommendations. We found out that DHIS2 implementation faces challenges mainly being lack of adequate knowledge. The health sector improvement is on a slow pace.
